10 Things to Do in Mallorca Before the Cold Starts
Summer might be slowly saying goodbye, but Mallorca still has plenty of warm days left. Before the colder months arrive, here are a few things worth squeezing in.
1. Have One Last Beach Day
Pack a towel, grab some snacks and enjoy one of those quiet end-of-season beach days before the island feels completely different.
2. Watch the Sunset by the Sea
September and October sunsets in Mallorca are hard to beat. Find a peaceful spot, bring a drink and stay until the sky changes colour.
3. Have Dinner Outside
Make the most of terrace season while you still can. Palma is full of beautiful little streets and plazas that are perfect for a long outdoor dinner.
4. Explore Palma Old Town
Wander without a plan, discover hidden courtyards, tiny cafés, local shops and streets you may normally walk straight past.
5. Take a Day Trip
Visit one of Mallorca’s villages, explore the mountains or simply drive somewhere you haven’t been before.
6. Go for One Last Swim
The sea is often still warm enough to enjoy well into autumn, so don’t put the swimsuit away just yet.
7. Have a Picnic
Find a park, viewpoint or beach and enjoy one last outdoor picnic before cosy indoor plans take over.
8. Spend a Slow Morning at a Local Market
Grab fresh fruit, pastries or flowers and enjoy Mallorca at a slower pace.
9. Do Something Creative 🎨
As the weather starts changing, it’s also the perfect time to mix outdoor days with something cosy.
At Fun Art Club Palma, you can paint pottery, create jewellery, paint your own canvas or try one of our other creative workshops.
Come with friends, on a date or even by yourself — and leave with something you actually made in Mallorca.
10. Enjoy the Island While It’s Quiet
One of the best things about this time of year? Mallorca starts slowing down. Fewer crowds, softer evenings and a much more relaxed atmosphere.
So before winter officially arrives, make the most of it.
